Bachelor in Paradise’s Glenn Smith and Alisha Aitken-Radburn spark more rumours they’re set to marry after tagging each other in a wedding cake post on Instagram

Glenn Smith and Alisha Aitken-Radburn have prompted rumours they might be getting married in the near future.

The couple, who met on last year’s season of Bachelor in Paradise, tagged each other in an Instagram post about wedding cakes on Friday.

Commenting on a news post headlined, ‘Some Lunatic Made A Wedding Cake Made From $60 Worth of Woolies Mud Boys’, Glenn, 33, and Alisha then discussed their perfect wedding cake.

‘@glennsmith87 this is the correct approach though, we can decorate together,’ commented Alisha, 28, while Glenn responded, ‘@alisha.aitkenradburn at least it would get eaten’.

But talk of a trip down the aisle seems to be premature, with Alisha telling PerthNow on Friday: ‘No, we are not engaged.’

Glenn and Alisha also sparked engagement rumours back in January, after being gifted a Christmas card from The Bachelor’s Locky Gilbert and Irena Srbinovska.

‘We hope that the New Year brings some exciting new adventures and… maybe even an engagement,’ they wrote in the card.

But in an Instagram Q&A in January, Alisha confessed she’s in no hurry to get married: ‘I’m actually not a super, super big marriage person, a greater commitment for me is someone wanting to raise a family with me.’

The couple found love on last year’s season of Bachelor in Paradise, with Alisha relocating to Perth last year to be with Glenn.

The show’s finale was filmed in November 2019, which meant Glenn and Alisha had to keep their relationship a secret for nine months until the series finally aired.

‘Me and Glenn were lucky – though it got a bit frustrating at times – that we had to hide our relationship for so long and the show was delayed another three or four months,’ she told Who magazine in October last year.

‘We very much lived life without the public gaze on us so we’ve always had a touch-point when things are pretty hectic and everyone wants to chuck their two cents into your relationship.’

In a separate interview with Who magazine in August last year, Glenn revealed he and Alisha first used code names to keep their relationship a secret.

‘I was told to change the name in your phone, because if your phone’s buzzing all the time people will see Alisha Aitken Radburn come up, so I thought of the code name,’ he explained.

‘”You’re going to be Bonnie and I’m going to be Clyde,” and to this day she’s Bonnie in my phone.’
