Buranek is described as a ‘risk-seeking’ journalist who uses her byline, ‘to speak truth to power.’

She is at a crossroads in her journalistic career, having left her prestigious news outlet so she can work on her own terms.

The writer hopes to make her way back to the mainstream media by telling Reece’s story and exposing the conspiracy he’s fighting against.

David DiGillio (Traveler, Strange Angel, Crossbones) is writing the series and serving as its showrunner, with Pratt also serving as executive producer with John Schumacher through their Indivisible Productions company they launched in 2020.

Antoine Fuqua (Training Day) is slated to direct and executive produce through his Fuqua Films banner, alongside author Carr and Daniel Shattuck.

The series will be a co-production between Amazon Studios and Civic Center Media in association with MRC Television.
