‘I’ve got so much more love to give!’ Alison Hammond reveals she dreams of adopting a child as she discusses life with her teenage son Aidan and losing her mother to cancer

Alison Hammond has revealed that she dreams of adopting a child in the future and that her one wish would be that she’d had more kids.

The This Morning presenter, 46, said she has ‘so much more love to give’ and ‘isn’t done’ with just one child.

The mother-of-one also discussed life with her teenage son Aiden, 16, admitting she was scared about being a parent at first but now she ‘can’t imagine life without him’.

The TV star told HELLO!: I was so nervous about becoming a mum in the beginning, and I look back and think: ‘What was I nervous about?’

‘He has enriched my life in ways I never even imagined. He’s brought so much joy, I can’t imagine life without him.’

She added: ‘My one wish would be that I’d had more children. I wish I’d had another three back then.

‘I would totally consider adoption in the future. I’ve got so much more love to give – I don’t think I’m done with one child, I’m just not.

She added that Aidan has already got two sisters and a brother from his father’s side of the family who he still sees.

The star revealed that Aidan encouraged her to take on her new role presenting This Morning, which she now does every Friday alongside host Dermot O’Leary.

The former Big Brother star also revealed that her most nerve-wracking celebrity interview was with Jennifer Lopez.

She explained how the journalist who went in to interview J-Lo before her got ‘chucked out’, causing her to worry, but once she was in the room she was fine. 

Alison went on to speak about losing her mother Maria to lung and liver cancer last February.

She explained how pictures of her are all over the house so it feels like she is still there and that she ‘really misses her’ because she was her ‘best friend’. 

Sharing her sad news last year alongside pictures of her mother, Alison wrote on Twitter, ‘I am dedicating this Valentines to my beautiful Mother who sadly passed away from liver and lung cancer. 

‘My family and I laid mummy to rest yesterday in a beautiful ceremony which I know she would have loved.

‘RIP my best friend and Living Angel please come to my dreams. ♥️♥️’
