Zac Efron films Down To Earth alongside girlfriend Vanessa Valladares in Sydney

It’s been officially confirmed that Zac Efron’s Netflix show Down To Earth is returning for a second season, which is currently being filmed in Australia.

And on Tuesday, the Hollywood star was joined by his girlfriend Vanessa Valladares and his TV producer brother Dylan to shoot the new series, in a remote setting some 100km southwest of Sydney.

The hunky actor, 33, flaunted his bulging biceps in a khaki T-shirt for the sun-drenched shoot, as he walked on set with his partner Vanessa, 25 – who is understood to be starring on the new season with him.

Zac’s younger brother Dylan, 29, is reprising his role as producer on the show, shortly after completing a mandatory 14-day quarantine after jetting in from the US.

The High School Musical actor will mainly star alongside wellness expert Darin Olien, as the duo search for healthy, sustainable ways to live on earth as well as embrace the local food, culture and customs of the country.

It appeared to be quite the casual shoot, with Vanessa donning a baggy beige T-shirt and jeans teamed with a pair of sneakers.

She wore minimal make-up on her face, and wore her choppy brunette bob in a casual wavy style as she spoke on the phone close to Zac.

‘Here we go – Down to Earth season 2!’ Zac wrote alongside the photos.

Last month, Dylan told Bro Bible he had planned a trip Down Under to help produce the second season of Zac’s Netflix series.

‘I’m going to be in Australia for the next couple of months. As soon as I get back, I’m ready to start doing Flow State season two,’ he said, as he referred to his YouTube show.
