Paddy McGuinness left fans in hysterics on Wednesday night after he accidentally hit his head during a live appearance on The One Show.

The presenter, 47, didn’t hold back as he yelled ‘b****y hell’ after the accident with host Rylan Clark-Neal forced to apologise for his ‘language’.

Paddy had appeared on the show via his home alongside his Top Gear co-stars Andrew Flintoff and Chris Harris to talk about the BBC motoring show.

Yet during the interview, the presenter leaned back too far and whacked his head to which he yelled: ‘Ouch, b****y hell!’

Paddy’s co-stars and show host Alex Jones were left in hysterics, with fellow presenter Rylan, 32, quipping: ‘We should apologise as well if there was any language there. You alright?’ with Paddy rubbing his head and replying: ‘No!’ 

Rylan added: ‘Can we just say… this man is in charge of driving very fast cars and he’s just knocked himself out on his own plastering!’

Thankfully Paddy was able to see the funny side as he took to Twitter after the show aired and shared a GIF of someone hitting their head.

He sarcastically penned: ‘The @BBCTheOneShow went well. #theoneshow #topgear.’ 

Fans were left in hysterics over the scenes as they even joked he could submit the clip to You’ve Been Framed, which shows embarrassing or amusing things.

The latest series of Top Gear sees Paddy, Freddie, and Chris return for four explosive episodes which they filmed during the UK’s third lockdown and with Covid-19 restrictions in place. 

In the first episode, the trio take a trip down memory lane by getting behind the wheel in their dad’s old cars, leading them to share moving childhood memories. 

Top Gear returns to BBC One on Sunday, March 14 at 8PM, while The One Show continues on weekdays at 7pm on BBC One.
