The simple tip creates a tiny cupcake sandwich that’s easier to eat without getting icing all over your mouth.

‘It’s the only way!’ the foodies captioned the TikTok clip, which has since gone viral and been viewed more than 400,000 times.

Hundreds praised the trio for sharing hack and many described the idea as ‘clever’ and ‘brilliant’.

But while the tactic impressed thousands, others said they have been eating cupcakes this way for ‘years’.

‘Been doing this for 15+ years when I saw Buddy do it on Cake Boss,’ one person wrote online.

‘So many people have done this, it’s old news,’ the sisters replied.

In another TikTok video Leah Itsines, the younger sister of fitness queen Kayla Itsines, revealed a ‘game-changing’ way to cut capsicums.

Instead of cutting off the top of the stem, the cookbook author, from Adelaide, used a knife to slice along the natural grooves to separate into wedges.

Using her hands, she peeled the slices, almost like a flower, then cut each one away from the stalk with all of the seeds attached.

‘I bloody love TikTok hacks and this one I will absolutely do all the time. I laughed so much after this because I thought, why wasn’t this obvious from the start?’ she said in her now-viral Instagram video.
