Appearing on Friday’s episode of Lorraine, the former Love Island star, 31, gave her first TV interview since giving birth in October, as she revealed that herself and Jamie, 30, have already started planning their wedding.

Jamie proposed to Camilla in February where he dressed their baby daughter Nell, five months, in a personalised baby grow which read: ‘Mummy, will you marry my Daddy?’

Yet Camilla admitted on Friday’s Lorraine that she almost ruined the proposal as she had planned to change Nell’s outfit before dinner.

The former bomb disposal expert confessed: ‘Jamie had got her a babygrow which said “Mummy will you marry my daddy?”

‘But I almost ruined it because I went to change her before dinner but Jamie managed to say, “No, don’t worry, I will do it!”‘ So I would have found out a little too early, but he managed to save it.’

Camilla added that they have already started planning their wedding and that it is all ‘very exciting’ for the couple.

She said: ‘Yes, very exciting. We kind of have started planning already, but obviously bearing in mind when things will change, but we’ve definitely got some ideas.’

Earlier this year, Boris Johnson warned June 21 is the earliest possible date for full-size weddings but even then it will be subject to a review of the Government’s ‘four tests’.

Camilla and now fiancé Jamie met on the 2017 series of Love Island, to which the former contestant admitted it has been the ‘most amazing’ and ‘unexpected thing’.

She said: ‘I can’t ignore the fact that it’s been the most amazing and unexpected thing, and a good reminder that it’s impossible to predict what an experience will bring to your life, you’ll be surprised.’

The couple’s romance has gone from strength-to-strength since leaving the villa and they welcomed their first child, Nell, in October.

Talking about giving birth during the coronavirus pandemic and lockdowns, Camilla said: ‘They say it’s a newborn bubble anyway, but we’ve been in a proper lockdown bubble.

‘But it’s been amazing, we feel so lucky to be spending so much time with her. She’s nearly five-months-old.’

Reflecting on her experience in the Love Island villa, Camilla admitted that she found the show ‘really difficult’ at first.

She said: ‘It’s an interesting one because I went into Love Island thinking it was the scariest thing I could do, for me socialising at that point, I couldn’t even talk to my friends and my family.

‘And when I first entered it was really difficult, I don’t think I said a single word at the start. But the idea was that I would come out the other end feeling like I rediscovered different parts of myself, and I did.

‘Absolutely, when people say “what did you expect to get out of it” that’s what I would explain and my main takeaway was I came out feeling much more like myself again.’

Prior to Love Island, Camilla had worked as an explosive ordnance disposal specialist in Afghanistan and Cambodia.

Talking about her past career, she said: ‘When I joined – because this is a long time ago – I was 23, it was predominantly male dominated, that has definitely shifted since I joined.

‘Things have changed now and it’s been great to see. I worked alongside some amazing women across the world. And it’s really important to show in local communities and to young girls.’

Elsewhere, discussing her book, Not The Type, Camilla said of being in a car accident as a teenager: ‘It definitely gave me a different perspective on things.

‘I had up until that point very much been following the path I thought I was meant to follow, and that kind of gave – it liberated me in some ways.

‘I started to understand you can try and do everything right, but it doesn’t mean things are going to turn out the way you expect.

‘It opened my eyes a bit and that gave me a chance to make some of the decisions I really wanted to make as opposed to the ones I thought I should make.’

Camilla revealed in February that she was engaged to Jamie as she shared a sweet picture of their daughter Nell wearing a personalised babygrow which read: ‘Mummy, will you marry my Daddy?’

The influencer also gave fans a glimpse of the ring designed by Jamie as she gushed: ‘The most perfect ring that only the person who knows me the very best would be able to design for me ❤️’.

Camilla and Jamie have been going strong ever since they found each other on the 2017 series of Love Island, when they finished in second place.

She was initially unlucky-in-love during her stint on the ITV2 dating show, after her budding romance with Jonny Mitchell came to end as he began pursuing Tyla Carr.

However things turned around when she met Calvin Klein model, Jamie, with the pair finishing behind Amber Davies and Kem Cetinay.

In February 2019, the pair took their relationship to the next level as they moved out of his parents’ home and into their own house.

Camilla and Jamie announced they were expecting their first child in May, by sharing a video of themselves holding up their ultrasound scan, they welcomed Nell in October.
