Hilaria Baldwin posts a photo of husband Alec sleeping next to their newborn daughter Maria Lucia

Hilaria Baldwin posted a cute photo of her husband Alec and their daughter to her Instagram account on Saturday morning.

In the snap, Alec could be seen snoring away as the couple’s newborn daughter Maria Lucia Victoria slept peacefully next to her dad.

The day before, the 37-year-old podcaster posted a short video to her account that featured her showing off her yoga prowess as she worked on her deltoids.

In the snap, the 62-year-old actor could be seen wearing a black t-shirt while he snoozed softly underneath a cozy gray blanket.

The couple welcomed MariLu via surrogate in late February this year, just six months after Hilaria gave birth to Eduardo herself in September 2020.

Alec and Hilaria shocked the public and sent the internet aflutter when they announced Lucia’s birth but an insider has since told People: ‘It’s no one’s business about a woman’s right to choose how and when she expands her family.’

Recently the mother of six revealed on her Insta Stories that she is breastfeeding both of her infants and joked: ‘This cow is tired and thirsty.’

The couple, who held their marriage ceremony in 2012, welcomed their first child Carmen, aged seven, a year after they tied the knot.

The two went on to add four sons to their family, whom they named Rafael, aged five, Leonardo, aged four, Romeo, aged two, and Eduardo, aged six months.

The Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation actor’s wife is also a stepmother to his daughter Ireland, aged 25, whom he shares with his former spouse Kim Basinger.

Although she usually has her hands full with her six children, Baldwin still found the time to shoot a quick yoga video for her Instagram account.

In the video, the social media personality was seen performing a deltoid-focused exercise while positioning herself on a cushioned platform.

Baldwin was dressed in a pair of form-hugging black leggings as well as a light pink tank top during her video shoot.

The podcaster entered the world of yoga at an early age and founded her first studio shortly after she graduated from New York University.

She went on to open several other locations and released an exercise video near the start of her burgeoning career; Baldwin now regularly shares videos of her workout routines on her Instagram account.

During an interview with Refinery29, the podcaster spoke about how she was enthusiastic about using the social media outlet to connect with other people who shared a passion for yoga.

‘I think my Instagram is more of a community than what I would’ve envisioned. How close a lot of us feel on my page is very inspiring and it’s really beautiful and amazing,’ she remarked.

Baldwin added, ‘when I read people’s comments as they’re chatting between each other, I find them to be very powerful and inspiring. Their life experience is tremendous. I am always learning a lot from them.’

Hilaria’s latest posts come just over a month after she apologized for faking her Spanish heritage in a controversy that came to light at the end of 2020.

Although she goes by ‘Hilaria’ and her CAA bio claimed she was born in Majorca, she is in fact from Boston and had the given name Hillary Hayward-Thomas.

Various interviews show her slipping into a Spanish accent and she once forgot the English word ‘cucumber’ during a televised cooking segment.

As the story gained steam she insisted to the New York Times that the ‘cucumber’ moment was a ‘brain fart’ because she was nervous and unused to TV.

While appearing on the Cat & Nat podcast in New York in April 2020 she said: ‘I moved here when I was 19 to go to NYU,’ and when she was asked: ‘From?’ she replied: ‘From – my family lives in Spain. They live in Majorca.’

When the scandal took off she told the New York Times: ‘I was born in Boston. I spent time in Boston and in Spain. My family now lives in Spain. I moved to New York when I was 19 years old and I have lived here ever since.’

Last month she said on Instagram that she was ‘sorry’ about the whole affair and allowed that she ‘should have been more clear.’

However she insisted that she was brought up ‘with two cultures, American and Spanish’ and feels ‘a true sense of belonging to both.’
