David Beckham is reunited with his beloved $60k custom-built Harley-Davidson in Miami

David Beckham took to the roads of Miami on Wednesday after being reunited with his beloved custom-built Harley-Davidson Knucklehead motorbike.

The football star, 45, had the motorcycle shipped across the Florida, where he’s currently working with his Inter Miami CF soccer club.

Clearly thrilled to have the bike back, David donned a yellow visor and went for a sunset ride, filmed by a friend driving alongside him in a car.

David zoomed along and stopped alongside the car, giving a grin to the camera.

He posted a clip of the outing to Instagram, with the caption: ‘Bike finally arrived in Miami… SMILE!’

It’s presumed David has had the vehicle transported across from Los Angeles, where he and wife Victoria used to live with their children.

The athlete has often been seen riding the hog around West Hollywood over the years.

When David first acquired the bike, Andy Downes, Motor Cycle News Senior Reporter said: ‘To have a custom bike built to order like this can cost anything from £35,000 to £60,000; it really depends what the customer wants to be incorporated into the design.

‘This is a completely unique bike built to the exact requirements of the customer and no one else will have a motorcycle like this.’

The likes of Keanu Reeves and Brad Pitt are also owners of custom-made motorbikes.

David has also recently launched his new Haig Club Mediterranean Orange whisky.

The football manager showcased his good looks as he posed for new shots to celebrate the citrus line launch last week.

David has spent lockdown focusing on his work with Haig Club – a single grain, no-age-statement Scotch whisky, which was launched by music mogul Simon Fuller back in 2014.

David said of his new Haig Club Mediterranean Orange: ‘The Med is one of my favourite European destinations and we wanted to bring a fresh flavour to the brand that’s unexpected.

‘This is a very natural step for Haig Club to explore new flavours and something we’ve been working on for a long time.’

David has been a busy man of late, having reportedly signed a seven-figure deal with Disney+ for a TV series inspired by his incredible football career.

The former England captain will mentor a group of inner-city youngsters from an east London team who grew up in similar circumstances to him.

It’s thought that casting for the series begun in Hackney Marshes, just two miles from Leytonstone where David grew up before signing to Manchester United at the age of just 17.

It’s thought that filming for the series was delayed by the Covid pandemic, but production is expected to resume this summer.

David was famously scouted by Manchester United when he was just seven years old and signed to the club’s youth team before making his professional debut at the age of 17.

He went onto become a club legend and was also a star player for England across three World Cups and two European Championships before retiring in 2013.
