Helena Bonham Carter embraces the warm weather in a raspberry pink dress for a stroll in London

Spring is in the air with temperatures rising across the UK.

And Helena Bonham Carter embraced seasonal style on Wednesday in a raspberry pink dress which aptly featured a pattern of the delicious fruit.

The actress, 54, cut a relaxed figure in the loose-fitting number as she met up with a friend in London for a walk.

Making the most of the day: Helena Bonham Carter embraced seasonal style on Wednesday in a patterned pink midi dress as she met up with a friend in London for a walk

Her outfit boasted a plunging V-neckline and delicate pleats trailing across her collar bone.

Helena draped a black satchel handbag across her torso while sipping on a smoothie from Joe And The Juice.

The Crown star added height to her frame with platform trainers which she teamed with grey socks.

Her wispy brunette locks were tucked back in a loose up-do and her clear shades perched on the crown of her head.

She appeared to go make-up free for the outing as she was seen deep in conversation with her pal.

Helena appeared without her other-half, Rye Dag Holmboe, who frequently joins her for ambles around the city centre.

The couple first went public with their romance in October 2019, five years after she split from her partner of 13 years, Tim Burton.

The film executives are parents to 16-year-old son Billy and 12-year-old daughter Nell.

TV and film star Helena previously credited the writer, Rye, for being ‘a bit of unexpected magic in my life’.

Helena had a famously unconventional with director Tim, 62, as they lived in two adjourning houses in London.

On finally moving on from the American animator, the Enid star – who previously dated Irish actor Kenneth Branagh between 1994 and 1999 – admitted she grew tired of ‘grieving’ their relationship, and now leads a ‘happy’ life with her boyfriend.

Helena told Harper’s Bazaar UK: ‘You break up, you grieve, you get bored of grieving.

‘And then you finally move on. I’m very happy with someone else. It’s been a bit of unexpected magic in my life.’

The thespian’s outing came after it was announced last month that she and David Mitchell have joined the stellar cast on BBC One’s new comedy series, The Cleaner

The sitcom has been written by The Inbetweeners star Greg Davies, who will play the lead role of cleaning technician, Paul ‘Wicky’ Wickstead.

Screenwriter Greg, 52, said he is ‘thrilled’ Helen and Peep Show’s David, 46, will star in the series.

The Cleaner is based on the multi-award-winning and long-running German comedy series, Der Tatortreiniger (Crime Scene Cleaner) created by Ingrid Lausund.

It will follow Paul ‘Wicky’ (Greg), who is a crime scene cleaner responsible for the removal of any signs of death.

Armed with chemicals, scrubbing brushes and cleaning rags, Wicky removes the gruesome mess at the scene of a crime.

When carrying out his duties, he stumbles across the strangest of people, from the victim’s relatives, employers, neighbours and acquaintances, to occasionally even the murderers themselves.

Also starring in the upcoming series is Stephanie Cole from Open All Hours, Game Of Thrones’ Donald Sumpter  and Four Weddings and a Funeral actress Shobu Kapoor.
