Big Brother contestant revealed: Sprinting champion and fitness blogger Katie Williams is no stranger to reality TV after appearing on Australian Ninja Warrior

The latest contestant who will be part of Big Brother Australia 2020 has been revealed. 

Katie Williams, 27, is a champion sprinter and fitness blogger who hails from Sydney’s Northern Beaches. 

She is also the host of the podcast Better For It, and boats an Instagram following of over 45k fans.

In a promotional video released on Friday, Katie says she will use her fitness prowess to ‘hit it back with force’ in the competition and hailed it was ‘game on!’

Katie is no stranger to reality television, having appeared on Australian Ninja Warrior four years ago. 

The gym bunny regularly showcases her incredible figure and healthy lifestyle on her Instagram account.

Several other contestants have already been announced, including 21-year-old student from Sydney, Tilly Whitfeld. 

She will join 48-year-old real estate agent Daniel Hayes, and author and fashionista Sarah Jane Adams, 65.  

Last year, international model Chad Hurst won the series and the cash prize in July’s live finale as the result of receiving the most public votes by viewers.

Channel Seven has also announced that additionally, Celebrity Big Brother Australia will be back in 2021 with a new name – Big Brother VIP. 

Celebrity Big Brother last aired in 2002, and starred Kyle Sandilands, Warwick Capper, Anthony Mundine and Red Symons, among others – with TV presenter Dylan Lewis crowned the winner. 

Fans have already begun guessing who might like to take part, with Instagram account The Wash suggesting Married At First Sight star Nasser Sultan would be first in line.
