Ed Sheeran has been making the most of his stay Down Under.

And on Friday, 30-year-old Perfect singer had a boys’ night out in Melbourne with cricketing legend Shane Warne and his son Jackson. 

Both Shane, 51, and Jackson, 21, shared photos from their evening with the British pop star on Instagram on Friday.

‘Ed,’ Jackson simply captioned a photo of himself and the star, adding a second group photo with his famous dad.

In the photo, Ed is seen holding a glass of red wine, while Shane gives the camera a thumbs up.

Meanwhile, Shane shared a series of photos on Instagram Stories, and wrote: ‘Great hanging out with these legends’.

He also posted a selfie of himself and Ed, and captioned it simply with just a series of red love heart emojis.

Ed flew out to Australia ahead of music industry icon Michael Gudinski’s state memorial in Melbourne late last month. 

After quarantining in Byron Bay earlier in the month, he performed at the star-studded farewell for his late friend and mentor.

Ed played a moving acoustic rendition of We Were Younger Then, before stopping to wipe tears from his eyes. 

He also sat front row at the memorial alongside Gudinski’s grieving family, who were seen crying during the emotional ceremony. 

‘Everywhere he went, he just lit up the room and then f**ked off,’ Ed joked of Gudinski, after calling him a ‘tornado’ and a ‘barrel of laughs’.
