Former Bachelor star Tim Robards reveals that he struggled with stunts in his new film but hoped to ‘break his nose’ to ‘straighten it’ after an accident

Tim Robards has returned to acting after quitting Neighbours last year.

The chiropractor, 38, has shot the short film Sherbrooke Down: The Road to Cataract.

However, when it came to doing his own stunts, the former Bachelor struggled as his role involved some serious fight scenes.

Tim said he plays ‘a bare knuckle fighter called Mace’ in the film.

‘I’ve never been in a real fight in my life, I will just play it out in make believe land,’ he told The Daily Telegraph on Friday.

He added that he wouldn’t mind if he broke his nose, in the hopes of straightening it after an old injury.

The nose knows! 'I could probably do with breaking my nose back though. Playing football years ago, I had my nose smashed. I wouldn't mind having it broken the other way to straighten it up again' Tim said on Friday

He took fans for a stroll down the set’s main street, which he was very impressed by.

He then showed the inside of a bar, and said: ‘This is the scene of the crime tomorrow. I’m going to have a fight. I’m going to throw Patty out that door.’

His mention of Patty was likely in reference to his co-star Patrick O’Connor, who is known for playing Dean Thompson on Home and Away.
