‘I’m proud I’m Guy’s wife’: Jules Sebastian reveals she takes pride in her marriage as she launches her first book Tea & Honesty in Sydney
On Wednesday, Guy Sebastian praised his wife of 13 years, Jules Sebastian, for running the household and allowing him to ‘have a normal life’ amid his TV and music career.
But on Friday, Jules who has just launched her first memoir, Tea & Honesty, revealed she takes pride in her role as his wife, despite everyone claiming it’s now her time to shine.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, Jules said: ‘I’m proud I’m Guy’s wife. I don’t ever see it as I have to come out of his shadow. I’m so happy he has that (spotlight).’

She added that she doesn’t mind being called Guy’s wife and has been ‘forging her own way’ for years and has finally achieved that with the release of her new book.
On Wednesday Guy stepped out in support of Jules at her Sydney book launch.
At the time, The Voice Australia coach told The Daily Telegraph that his wife has always been selfless and happily raised their family while he focused on his career.

He said she ‘put herself last’ and made the ‘sacrifice.’
However, Jules who shares sons Hudson, nine, and Archer, six, with Guy, told the publication that she can’t take credit as they are ‘a team’.
The event attracted a long list of local celebrities, including Guy’s younger brother and The Voice winner, Chris Sebastian, and fellow singer, Samantha Jade.

An ecstatic Jules looked stunning, stepping out in a layered white tulle dress with a patterned skirt and cinched in waist.
The newly minted author paired the ethereal dress with a pair of strappy silver heels.
Her shoulder-length blonde hair was styled in loose waves, and she opted for a soft makeup look.
‘Having a Carrie Bradshaw moment with this dress for my book launch today! I’m all tulle, I’m all ruffle, I’m all Carrie,’ she said in a video posted to Instagram Stories.
Jules posed for a series of photos ahead of the event, before making her way over to a white outdoor lounge chair for more photos.
She was soon joined by Guy, who looked smart in a pair of navy blue tapered trousers, which he teamed with a white T-shirt.
The Voice judge completed his ensemble with a blue and white tartan blazer and a pair of grey and blue loafers.
‘The kindest person I know has written a brilliant book and I’m so proud!’ he wrote on Instagram in February.
Guy spoke at the launch, having previously praised Jules on Instagram for her work on the book.
‘This book is raw, honest and full of insight into the many things life throws at us. She has pulled together some inspiring people over the years on @tea_with_jules and collated some of the best lightbulb moments, mixed in with her own personal life lessons.
‘I’ve never seen her more nervous in my life than today, but she needn’t be, it’s so good!’
