TV entrepreneur and Number 96 actor Harry Michaels sells Point Piper Spanish Mission apartment for a whopping $3.7 million

The Australian TV producer and actor, best known for playing Giovanni Lenzi on the iconic soap Number 96, has sold his Point Piper apartment.

The Spanish Mission style unit sold for $3.7 million over the weekend – $200,000 above price guide – according to realestate.com.au.

The apartment had failed to sell last June when listed for $3.3 million.

The four bedroom, two bathroom apartment is part of the six unit Santa Barbara block that was built circa 1929.

Located on the ground floor, the apartment features original fixtures, a French Provincial style kitchen and Art Deco bathrooms. 

It also boasts Harbour views and is close by Lady Martins Beach. 

Michaels bought the apartment for $2 million in 2010.

Michaels first rose to fame in the 1970s as Italian Deli assistant Giovanni in TV hit Number 96. 

He then went on to create Aerobics Oz Style, which ran for 4500 episodes from 1982. 

He also purchased the TV rights for the National Soccer League in the 1980s.
