Jadé Tuncdoruk goes private after Celeb Spellcheck calls her out for double standards

Jadé Tuncdoruk has gone private on social media.

It appears she has been triggered by Celeb Spellcheck, an anonymous Instagram account that exposes influencers’ bad spelling and bad behaviour.

The social media sensation made her page private on Wednesday after the popular page re-shared Jadé’s Instagram Story where she asked fans to recommend places to visit in New Zealand.

Something to hide? Jadé Tuncdoruk has gone private after anonymous Instagram account Celeb Spellcheck called her out for double standards

Conversely, in the same post, Jadé is showcased making a video on her ‘funny’ account The Real Jadé Tunchy  where she mocks fellow Instagram users who use the Q and A function to ask silly questions.

‘Google is a super handy tool that’s got all this information on it… you can look stuff up on,’ she sarcastically said in the video.

In the post, Celeb Spellcheck captioned the footage ‘Mount Hypocrite edit: turning off comments now as they were becoming difficult.’

As a result, the high-profile influencer didn’t react well to being made fun of.

So much so, she decided to switch her account onto private.

‘Hi friends, I’ve decided to keep this account private for a while so congrats if you’re already here you made it to the secret club,’ she said on Instagram Stories via her The Real Jade Tunchy account.

She also went on to joke that the secret password was ‘Jade’.

This is not the first time Celeb Spell check has caused a reaction from Jadé.

Earlier this year, the account’s mystery administrator – who is believed to be a Melbourne PR worker in her twenties – noted that Jadé blocked her on her official account.

At the time, Jadé wasn’t alone, as Celeb Spellcheck confirmed the likes of Sophie Cachia, Steph Claire Smith, and Tayla Damir had also stopped her from accessing their accounts.

Daily Mail has reached out to Jadé and Celeb Spellcheck for comment.

Celeb Spellcheck began a few years ago as an account making fun of poor spelling on sponsored Instagram posts, but has since become a platform for holding influencers to account for their lies and irresponsible behaviour.

The profile is also a hub for user-submitted gossip, with one notable example being the claim a high-profile couple from Victoria is on the verge of divorcing.

Because of this, Celeb Spellcheck has drawn comparisons to DeuxMoi, the popular Instagram account that collects and dishes out unverified rumours about American celebrities from its almost 600,000 followers.

The admin has denied bullying the influencers she features on the account, saying: ‘This page is meant to be lighthearted and fun. I have definitely posted things in the past that I’m not proud of, but I do try to never cross the line.’

The account previously made headlines when it shared a screenshot of model Elyse Knowles misspelling ‘voilà’ as ‘wallah’. The gaffe went viral in December when it was picked up by U.S. social media sensation Joshua Ostrovsky, a.k.a. The Fat Jewish.
