Laura Whitmore has spoken out after her Celebrity Juice co-star Keith Lemon appeared to accidentally reveal the name of her newborn daughter.

Many fans believed Keith, 47, whose real name is Leigh Frances, had slipped up and revealed Laura’s baby name during an appearance on This Morning on Thursday.

During the appearance, where he discussed the new series of Celeb Juice, Keith referenced the show’s team captains, Laura, 35, and Emily Atack, 31.

However Keith left viewers convinced he had revealed Laura’s little girl’s name after he said hello to the presenter and her baby who were watching at home. 

He said: ‘We’ve got Laura Whitmore as well, who’s at home watching this with her child. So hello to Emily and Laura, hello.’

Viewers soon took to Twitter to speculate that he was calling Laura’s baby ‘Emily’, however Laura soon cleared up any confusion on the social media platform.

One fan asked if Keith was talking about Emily Atack, to which Laura responded: ‘Ha ha, yes he was! Emily and I are team captains. It’s a gorgeous name, but would get confusing x.’  

Speaking on Thursday’s episode This Morning, the Celebrity Juice host spoke about the panellist’s little girl with husband Iain Stirling before saying ‘hello Emily’.

At the time, Keith did not clarify if he was referring to the newborn or to Laura’s Celebrity Juice co-panellist, Emily. 

However, fans were quick to pick up on the incident online, tweeting: ‘I think Laura Whitmore has named her newborn Emily thanks to Keith #ThisMorning’; ‘Keith just said Emily and Laura are watching from home! #ThisMorning’;

‘Did @lemontwittor just announce @thewhitmore’s baby’s name on @thismorning? #Emily #thismorning.’

It comes after Laura revealed she was already back at work on the ITV2 panel show Wednesday, as she shared a breastfeeding snap while getting ready to appear as a captain.

The TV and radio personality looked radiant in a yellow corduroy shirt with white frill detailing around the collar and and sleeves of the garment.

While Laura had her hair and make-up done by the Celeb Juice glam squad, her little one was tucked underneath a muslin and appeared to be feeding.

The Irish native wore her blonde locks in beachy waves and sported a natural pallet of make-up, which highlighted her pretty features.

Laura accessorised with a series of gold chain necklaces and a quirky clip.

The Love Island host also reunited with her pal and fellow captain Emily, 31, as the duo posed for a fun snap together behind-the-scenes.

Fans were full of praise for the star for returning to work after giving birth and shared their support in the comments section of the post. 

Over the weekend Laura celebrated her first Easter on Sunday since giving birth to her newborn baby girl.

Laura, who is yet to announce her tot’s name, shared a sweet snap of her ‘Easter chick’ and looked enamoured with her newborn daughter who wore an adorable yellow ruffled dress and matching bonnet.

The presenter looked radiant as she wore a celestial patterned shirt and flared jeans while cradling her daughter.

Laura’s 1.4 million followers were quick to comment on the photo and gush over the sweet mother-and-daughter photo.

Denise Van Outen said: ‘Aw, this makes me smile so much,’ followed by heart eye emojis. Great British Bake Off star Candice Brown commented: ‘So tiny and perfect.’   While singer Paloma Faith sweetly added: ‘Like a duck to water!’

The Love Island star gushed about being ‘in love’ with her daughter as she cradled her little one in a sling.

The broadcaster and comedian Iain, 33, confirmed they were expecting in December, sharing their happy news on Instagram, a day after it was revealed they had secretly married during a Humanist ceremony at Dublin’s City Hall in November.

She said: ‘As I finish this book, it doesn’t end at chapter nine, there’s a new chapter coming into my life – in the form of a baby girl currently growing inside me and that scares the s**t out of me. 

‘I once swallowed a bug and freaked out there was a live bug inside me. A live human is a whole new level of freaking out but I am excited because there’s a lot of good in the world, there’s a lot of potential.’

Reflecting on impending motherhood, Laura said: ‘I want to bring up my child knowing that she has her own story to write.’ 

‘She will be supported and loved. But she is the heroine of her own life, no-one else.’
