Selena Gomez steps out covered in FAKE BLOOD as she shoots an arrest scene for her upcoming Hulu series Only Murders in the Building

Selena Gomez was spotted covered in fake blood on the set of her upcoming series Only Murders in the Building on Friday evening.

While filming scenes for the Hulu series, which is about a group of true-crime fans who band together to solve a murder in their own apartment building, the 28-year-old actress was seen getting arrested and escorted into a police car.

Looking visibly distraught and panicked, the front of her ivory turtleneck sweater was stained in dried blood as she walked with her hands cuffed behind her back.

Even after appearing to have fled or been embroiled in a violent crime, Gomez’s dark brown tresses looked perfectly polished in a sleek low ponytail.

Traces of fake blood were also speckled on her short plaid skirt, and her black tights featured a small rip down her right thigh.

After wrapping the scene, the Lose You to Love Me singer bundled up in a long light brown jacket, gold hoop earrings and a surgical mask amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Gomez was one of several women who recently signed a letter from GLAAD supporting trans women and girls.

She joined other celebs such as Halle Berry, Regina King, Laverne Cox, Cynthia Eriva, Janelle Monae, Bella Hadid, Alison Brie and Gabrielle Union, to name just a few.

‘We all must fight against the unnecessary and unethical barriers placed on trans women and girls by lawmakers and those who co-opt the feminist label in the name of division and hatred. Our feminism must be unapologetically expansive so that we can leave the door open for future generations,’ the letter read.
