Married At First Sight‘s Johnny Balbuziente and Kerry Knight celebrated their six-month anniversary in April.

And the TV newlyweds already have solid plans for their future.

Johnny and Kerry, both 30, told Who Magazine on Thursday that they’ve bought a home together to renovate and flip.

Before appearing on the Channel Nine show, Johnny was experienced in flipping and selling homes. Now he’s brought Kerry into the fold. 

‘I’ve just bought another project home, but this time it’s exciting because it’s with Kerry. Being able to tap in to her flair for interior design, it’s an exciting time for us,’ he said.

‘We’re like a real life Block couple. In fact, I’d love for us to go on The Block,’ Johnny joked, as Kerry agreed.

The couple, who have both been married before, told the publication their experience on the social experiment has made them reevaluate their thoughts on getting married again. 

‘I’ve realised that, in wanting a family one day, for me, that means a tight solid unit and that for me means getting married again one day,’ Kerry said, as Johnny agreed. 

As flipping homes are on the cards, the pair say moving in together isn’t far off.   

Kerry and Johnny are one of only three relationships to go the distance on this year’s season of Married At First Sight. The others being Patrick Dwyer and Belinda Vickers, and Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson.

Standing in front of each other during their commitment ceremony (which aired April 12), an emotional Johnny confessed his love for Kerry. 

‘I began this journey not knowing if I could ever be in a serious relationship again after a long period of dark times,’ he began.

‘My heart had been ripped out of my chest and my world was turned on its head. But I worked hard to get back on track and that I did.’
