Adrian lost his place as Alisson’s deputy when Jurgen Klopp handed 22-year-old Caoimhin Kelleher a run of games in December.

However, Adrian kept a clean sheet when he was recalled for the Premier League win over Sheffield United at Bramall Lane in February.

Liverpool are prepared to let Kelleher go out on loan next season recognising that the 22-year-old needs a run of regular games to kick on.

Goalkeeper Loris Karius, on loan at Union Berlin, is wanted by Stuttgart. The 27-year-old is under contract at Liverpool until 2022.
