Hilary Duff cuts a casual figure while shopping for groceries with her daughters, Violet Banks, two, and newborn Mae James

Hilary Duff looked like the picture of maternal bliss when she was spotted out shopping for groceries with her daughters in Los Angeles.

The 33-year-old Lizzie McGuire star was seen carrying her newborn daughter Mae James in a black baby sling across her chest as she headed to her car.

Her two-year-old little girl Violet Banks sat perched in top of the actress’s shopping cart as the family left the store on Sunday.

Hilary smiled lovingly down at Violet, who was enjoying a popsicle during their outing. Duff was dressed casually in black jeans and a black, white and blue flannel shirt.

The blonde beauty wore her hair parted in the middle and down as she went about her errand. She stayed comfortable in a pair of shearling slipper-style Gucci slides.

Violet was clad in pale pink and light blue with her curly hair pulled up into a topknot held together by an orange scrunchie.

The What Dreams Are Made Of singer picked up several grocery bags, a couple of cases of soda and bouquets of brightly colored flowers.

Hilary shares Violet and Mae with her husband, singer-songwriter Matthew Koma, 34. She also has a son, Luca Cruz, nine, from her previous marriage to former NHL star Mike Comrie, 40.

Duff’s hit show Younger came to an end on June 10 after seven seasons. Plans for Paramount+ spin-off series starring Hilary seem to have fizzled out.

Showrunner Darren Star told TVLine, ‘I think that’s pretty much off the table. [Kelsey moving to California] could have set up the spinoff, sure, but that’s also just the way we wanted this to end. We resolved her story regardless of any notion of a spinoff.’

However, the mom of three will be staying busy with work.

Hilary will next star in Hulu’s How I Met Your Father which is currently in pre-production. The show will be a gender-swapped sequel to the hit CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother, which ran for nine seasons.
