It was initially feared that the reality TV show was going to be axed, with restrictions halting overseas travel and production.

Sophie is currently hosting Nine’s reboot of Beauty And The Geek – which last aired on Channel Seven in 2014.

Last week, the 41-year-old TV host revealed that only two of the geeks on this year’s season had ever been kissed before appearing on the show.

She made the admission on Nova FM’s Fitzy & Wippa on Friday.

‘I think only two of them out of the 10 have ever had a first kiss,’ she said, leaving radio presenters Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald and Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli shocked.

Wippa, 41, said their lack of experience was ‘extraordinary’, to which Sophie replied: ‘Isn’t it? Yeah, they’re in their thirties a few of them.’
