Paul Pogba‘s £300,000 Rolls Royce was nearly smashed by a fallen tree on Wednesday night as fierce winds continue to hit Greater Manchester this week.
The Manchester Untied midfielder’s wife, Maria Zulay Salaues, posted an image of the couple’s car on Thursday morning, lying in the driveway of their £2.9million Cheshire mansion – with a fallen tree lying inches away from the vehicle.
The Bolivian model, 27, captioned the Instagram story post: ‘This happened last night’ as the image showed Pogba’s Wraith Black Badge motor was just a few yards away from being ruined by the storm.

Fierce winds have swept Greater Manchester this week, with a mini tornado hitting Greater Manchester earlier this week, causing carnage in the area.
Residents in Cheshire have been posting images and videos of fallen trees, broken fences and debris in the street all week, with a Met Office forecaster predicting that gusts have been reaching 40 to 50 miles per hour.
Pogba, who earns £290,000 a week at Manchester United, played in his side’s 3-2 Champions League win over Italian side Atalanta on Wednesday evening.
The Manchester United star does not have a good record in keeping his £300,000 Rolls Royce safe, after the French footballer left the vehicle in a police car pound for nine months between June 2020 and March 2021.

The 28-year-old was stopped by police near Manchester Airport in June as his vehicle only had Monaco registered plates, with the expensive car towed away leaving Pogba with a £150 bill.
The footballer was further punished with three points on his driving licence and another £220 fine and £85 in costs at Tameside magistrates court last December.
However, the French international player did not pick up his car from the car pound until March of this year, despite the £200-a-day storage fees for leaving it in the police zone.
Considering Pogba left it in the police pound for around 270 days, the Manchester United star was understood to have been charged over £5,000 for leaving it there.
In March, Pogba paid £5,000 to retrieve the luxury vehicle after letting it sit in a police impound for nine months
In January 2019, Pogba’s expensive Rolls Royce car was seen parked in a disabled bay of Manchester’s Trafford shopping centre. A shopper, whose wife is disabled, took the photograph and said he did it did not have a Blue Badge displayed in its windscreen.
The image the bystander took at the shopping centre also appears to show the luxury supercar poking over the edge of the parking bay. The shopper, 52, claimed he later saw the same vehicle being driven into Manchester United’s training complex at Carrington on TV.
Later that month, Pogba was urged to ‘stop driving like a w*****’ as he left his £300,000 Rolls Royce in Wilmslow train station’s car park.
That was the message a disgruntled passerby to leave left a handwritten note on the midfielder’s car while it was parked at the station, while Pogba was also given a £60 parking ticket on the same day.
