The Portugal star has been rewarded with improved terms on his £80,000-a-week deal after establishing himself as a key player in Pep Guardiola‘s side.
Cancelo, who has made 106 appearances and won three major trophies since signing from Juventus for £60million in 2019, said: ‘Manchester City is a fantastic club, so I am incredibly happy to have signed this new agreement.

Cancelo’s contract extension is more good news for City fans after the club confirmed the £14m signing of Julian Alvarez from River Plate on Monday.
City’s director of football Txiki Begiristain said: ‘Joao is the ultimate professional. He absolutely loves football and applies himself every single day in a bid to become better.
