Real Housewives of Cheshire in chaos as bosses rush to find new personalities

There’s chaos in Cheshire.

And this time it’s off screen rather than on – as TV bosses are scrambling to find new stars for the upcoming season of the Real Housewives of Cheshire.

The ITVBe reality show has seen a mass-exodus in the last two years, with big names including Dawn Ward and Tanya Bardsley quitting the show.

Lauren Brown and Esther Dee also walked away from the programme and, most recently, Debbie Davies left to pursue a TV career in America.

On Tuesday, The Sun reported that producers are on the hunt for new stars to fill the gaps ahead of the 15th series.

A source told the publication: ‘It’s a nightmare to lose so many people, especially such big characters like Tanya.

‘After Debbie quit bosses knew it was time to start hunting for new stars – they know they’ve got some huge personalities to replace so they’re not looking for just anyone.’

Mail Online has contacted the shows production company for a comment.

Season 14 of the show concluded in December with a reunion special as series 15 of the hit show has yet to be announced

The current cast consists of Lauren Simon, Seema Malhotra, Rachel Lugo, Hanna Kinsella, Nicole Sealey, Lystra Adams, and Sheena Lynch.

Last year Tanya quit the following a six-year stint on the show.

According to reports at the time, the reality star, 40, was said to have ‘made up her mind’ and has been ‘really struggling with her anxiety’.

The mother-of-four was taken to hospital last August following a stress-related seizure which caused her to collapse while working as a model during a photoshoot.

Meanwhile, Dawn Ward announced she would be leaving RHOC in December 2020 because she wanted to concentrate on her family.

In a statement posted to her Instagram account at the time, she said: ‘Having been on the Real Housewives of Cheshire for almost 7 years & 12 seasons, I’ve had the most incredible journey, not just me, but my whole family. It really has been amazing for us.

‘Season 12 has now come to an end and filming has finished. It’s been difficult this season with the pandemic but the cast and our amazing production team have pulled it off again, it’s been fun!

‘Everyone who knows me knows I’m all about my family, so I’ve decided that after 12 seasons on the show I would like to concentrate on projects with them.’

Whilst Dawn was replaced for series 13 of the reality show by glamorous psychic Deborah, It was revealed earlier this month that the bubbly blonde is now chasing a telly career in the US, with an insider telling Daily Star:

‘It’s a show that takes up a lot of time to film and Debbie has so many other things going on at the moment.

‘There are producers in the United States that want her to film a ghost and paranormal show.’

Ex stars include Magali Gorré, Ampika Pickston and subsequent cast members Missé Beqiri, Stacey Forsey, Ester Dohnalová, Nermina Pieters-Mekic, and Perla Navia.
