Within a few weeks, the socialists have changed their approach regarding the need to change the territorial administrative map.

The head of the parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, declared that they would not give consensus to the request of the democrats who are asking the Territorial Reform Commission to increase the number of municipalities from 61 to 91.

Today in the Assembly, the agreement of the Conference of Chairmen to postpone the work deadline of this commission until October 21, when its mandate ends on September 30, was announced. This postponement was voted during the session by 101 deputies.

The socialist co-chair of this Commission does not deny that there may be an increase of municipalities, but not to go to the number 91 as the opposition demands.
