Regarding the government’s decision to cancel the entry into force of the decision that provided that, starting from October 1, the entire amount of energy above the 800 kilowatt/hour band would be paid at the price of 42 Lek per kilowatt/hour, the Deputy Prime Minister spoke in the Assembly and at the same time the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku.

During her speech in the Assembly Forum, Balluku addressed the opposition, saying that she is sorry that they are upset because, according to Balluku, their plans have been ruined. Balluku addressed the opposition again, answering the accusations that the government was not pressured by them to cancel this decision.

Deputy Prime Minister Balluku has said that the reason for canceling the decision to increase the price of energy for all those subscribers who consume more than 800 kWh was the improvement of water conditions as well as the awareness of citizens about saving, a situation for which he hopes to be the same in November.

Belinda Balluku: It’s been a few days since you were upset that the 800 kWh phase was not implemented. We assure you that we have not had any pressure from you, we are not pressured by you. Both because of the more stable weather, but also because the citizens are more sensitized to our request to reduce consumption. The improvement in water conditions made us revise the band for this month. ERE are honorable men and women, you have a week to tear them apart without any right. Obviously, ERE has done the job properly. We are very sorry that you are upset, we will continue to protect citizens. We hope that during the month of November we will have the same situation and undoubtedly we will continue the shield. We are very sorry to disturb your plans./broread
