Albania aims to gain 500 million Euros from fruit and vegetable exports. This is what Prime Minister Edi Rama declared during a meeting with farmers in Fier.

During his speech, Rama said that thanks to the government’s initiatives, Albanian agriculture has grown and work has doubled.

“It is painful that even a grain of apple, even a grain of onion, even a gram of milk produced with its own difficulties, is thrown away. But there is another truth. That those products that appear on television being thrown away, while those other products that are exported do not appear on television, are an example of standing back without wanting to understand what the vast majority of farmers have understood. What you have understood here, what all farmers from the North to the South have understood and today we are thanks to them we aim for 500 million Euros of exports from the 130 million Euros we exported when we started this way. We are aiming to reach this year half a billion Euros in fruit exports, vegetable exports, exports of labor products on the land, of an Albania that today is different from what is shown in the distorted television mirrors behind which hide owners who blackmail the government to profit in a way indirect money, tender, construction permit, it is an Albania that works twice as hard as it did when we started the task. We made available to them what only the state can make available, water. Today we feel good because we see that agriculture, the Albanian countryside has a future, the complete opposite of what is being preached”. said Prime Minister Edi Rama.

The head of the government also spoke about giving free oil to farmers, for which he said that this policy has helped them and has influenced the increase in local production of agricultural products. /broread
