“Violence is intolerable”, Belinda Balluku reacts to the incident against Berisha

Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, in an interview for Klan News, also addressed the opposition protest that took place simultaneously with the EU leaders’ summit in Tirana. Balluku said that due to his engagement with the summit, he had not been able to attend the protest, but had heard about the incident against the leader of the DP, Sali Berisha.

Belinda Balluku: Actually we condemn violence. Violence is punishable. Everyone has the right to protest. You have seen that both the police and the government have provided all the conditions, so violence is intolerable in all cases. I hope that Mr. Berisha is well. I have not had the opportunity to follow it, however I wish them well and I hope that the protest has achieved the goal for which it was carried out./broread
