The Minister of Justice Ulsi Manja held a press conference this Saturday afternoon, which coincides with the 12th anniversary of the January 21 event, where 4 citizens were killed during the protest in front of the Prime Minister’s Office.

The Minister of Justice has stated that the event should be investigated as a state crime and that the file should have gone to SPAK on the first day that this structure was created.

Ulsi Manja: As the Minister of Justice, on behalf of the citizens and the highest public interest, I have the duty to raise my voice until the restoration and restoration of justice brutally violated on January 21 by the state itself. The case of the murder of Aleks Nika, Hekuran Deda, Ziver Veiz and Faik Myrtaj cannot be considered investigated as long as it is not investigated as a state crime. Justice truncated is a mockery of justice itself. This file cannot remain a hostage in the drawers of the Tirana prosecutor’s office even today after 12 years. This file should not continue to do the next ping-pong with one prosecutor after the other who fall in turn to vetting and pass the file to each other. In the light of this new material evidence and others that are expected to come to light from the comprehensive and objective investigation of this case, it should have been transferred to SPAK in time, even for the large public burden that it has, it should have gone there since the first day of the creation of SPAK, as a foundation test for this structure that has raised the hopes of Albanians for new justice and to put an end to dishonesty towards anyone, regardless of the position they held or still hold./broread
