President of PR: China’s interventions in the Balkans and Serbia’s spending on armaments are worrying
The chairman of the Republican Party, Fatmir Mediu, in cooperation with Congressmen Pete Sessions and Robert Aderholt, organized the security forum in the American Congress to discuss the avoidance of a possible conflict in the Balkans, as well as Russian aggression in Ukraine and China’s intervention in the region.
The medium expressed that a conflict in the Balkans could be supported by Russia to draw attention from the war in Ukraine. According to the president of PR, signals of conflict are also intentional tensions in the North of Kosovo, or Serbia’s armament expenditures.
On the other hand, American congressmen expressed their concern about China’s interventions in the region as well as Russian influence.
