Great Northern beer logo bird: Woman sparks heated debate after spotting hidden image

Shopper sparks heated debate after spotting a very ‘unusual’ hidden image in the Great Northern beer logo

  • There are two animals in the Great Northern logo
  • Women appeared to find them easier to see than men

Beer fans have found themselves divided over the country’s ‘second favourite beer’, Great Northern, after a woman pointed out a quirk with the famous logo.

Paige Bush posted to TikTok to point out the Marlin used on the front of the beer cans and bottles also looks like a bird.

‘Once you see it you can’t un-see it,’ she wrote alongside her video where she pointed out the bird’s ‘beak’.

The woman said no-one ever believes her when she tells them the logo ‘looks like a bird’ and called for ‘one person’ to back her up.

‘They think I am making it up, or I am drunk, or I am going crazy,’ she said.

‘I can kind of see a bird, doesn’t have a lower beak though, well spotted,’ said another.

But many said she ‘didn’t do the video justice’ after accidentally covering the logo with the caption.

‘Maybe do it again without the headline in front. I don’t believe it until I can see it,’ one man said.

‘What a fail of a demonstration,’ laughed another.

Others said the video did help them.

‘My dad has told me my entire life – but i have never been able to see it until today,’ laughed one woman.

Some claimed Toohey’s was the first beer company to incorporate other animals in their logo.
