Kellyn Acosta – Los Angeles FC and USA star – ‘has three Rolexes stolen in break-in

Los Angeles FC and USA star Kellyn Acosta ‘has three Rolexes stolen after thieves break into his home’ – just days before the start of the new MLS season

Los Angeles FC and USMNT star Kellyn Acosta has been the victim of a burglary, with thieves stealing three of his pricey Rolex watches, according to a report.

TMZ report that the 27-year-old’s LA-area home was broken into last week, with thieves making their way into the property through a door and taking off with three of the soccer player’s expensive wrist watches.

Police said that no other items were stolen in the burglary, and TMZ report that cops ‘are not ruling out the possibility of an inside job’. An investigation remains ongoing.

The break-in will be a big disruption to Acosta’s season preparations, with the MLS campaign beginning in just three days.

Acosta’s team, LAFC, face local rivals LA Galaxy in an El Trafico derby on the opening day, meaning the player will be staying locally in the California area.

Acosta was born in Plano, Texas and began his playing career in the FC Dallas academy, before breaking through to the first team in 2013.

After five years, and 139 appearances, in his home state, the USA international was traded to the Colorado Rapids in exchange for Dominique Badji.

He then spent three years at the Rapids before moving to LAFC last year, going on to win the MLS Cup in his first year with the team.

Acosta also captained the USA last month and is currently at the height of his career, at the age of 27.
