In 9 years, 760 schools have been closed, the number of teachers has been drastically reduced

The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, held a meeting with teachers on the occasion of March 7.

During his speech, chief democrat Berisha emphasized that teachers, especially Albanian teachers, with the conditions in which they taught, are missionaries of knowledge and civilization.

The chairman of the Democratic Party Berisha did not spare the accusations as he said that according to him, the government has put ignorance on a pedestal, divided education and educators.

Sali Berisha: With passion, dedication, teachers enlighten the minds of our children with knowledge, education, civilization. Together with the family, they learn the feeling of love for the homeland, the nation. Throughout history, the sacrifices of Albanian teachers are extraordinary. The conditions in which they practiced their profession, the conditions of housing, living, raising children, in the most remote, deep areas in the 4 corners of the country make them true missionaries of knowledge and civilization.

Nothing a society and a nation can have more important and serious than education. No other profession, a society and a nation can have more importance than that of a teacher. The development of an educational system that fulfills the tasks, the mission, towards the society and the nation, although it is the most serious process, is at the same time not a simple process. It is a process that requires great effort. The truth is that today in these 9 years of kleptocracy, in these 8 years of kakistocracy, of the rule of the worst, in these 9 years of the terrible impoverishment of Albanian citizens, in these 9 years of desolation like never before in history with this speed of our nation , education, the teacher, the teacher have been among the major victims of this regime. Today teaching is no longer a favorite profession and these are alarming sirens for a nation. A profession that stands on a pedestal like no other and they don’t like that, young people don’t like it, because this government has despised this profession, denigrated this profession.

This government has put ignorance on a pedestal. This government has divided education and education. Missionaries of knowledge, education and civilization. Nothing can have a more important nation than that of the teacher and the teacher. Today teaching is no longer a favorite profession and these are alarm sirens. Young people don’t want this, they don’t like it because this government has despised this profession, denigrated this profession. This government has put vulgarity, ignorance on a pedestal, this government has divided education, the educator. This government has committed a true genocide against Albanians by creating the conditions for the depopulation of the country. 780 schools have been closed, the number of teachers has decreased dramatically. Teachers are paid 2 times less than teachers in Kosovo, Montenegro and every country in the region. 9 years ago, they had the highest salaries in the region. A major effort was made to set up an educational infrastructure.

In his speech, the chief democrat Berisha stated that during the last 9 years the number of teachers has been drastically reduced and 760 schools have been closed.

Sali Berisha: This government has committed a real genocide against Albanians by creating the conditions for the depopulation of the country. 760 schools have been closed, the number of teachers has been drastically reduced. Today, Albanian teachers are paid twice less than teachers in Kosovo, Montenegro and teachers in any country in the region. 9 years ago they had the highest salaries in the region. A major effort was made to set up a modern educational infrastructure. More than 1,300 schools, kindergartens and other educational institutions were built in an 8-year period. The Internet was extended to every school, great efforts were made to modernize teaching. Albania had vertical ascent in the Pisa system. Of course it was far from the position we would have liked, but the ascent was vertical and that was to the credit of our teachers. The universities were transformed into open-door universities for the children of Albanians./broread
