‘Definitely better than some of these’: LeBron James claims Bronny is superior to NBA players

LeBron James claims his son Bronny, 18, is already BETTER than current NBA players… despite him still being in high school!

LeBron James showered his son, Bronny, in praise Monday night, tweeting that he could is already better than some of James’ NBA contemporaries. 

Just two days after Bronny’s high school team advanced to the finals of the 2023 California Interscholastic Federation State Championships, James hyped up his namesake. 

‘Man, Bronny definitely better than some of these cats I’ve been watching on league pass today. S*** lightweight hilarious,’ James wrote on Twitter

Bronny James may play his final high school basketball game Tuesday night as Sierra Canyon face Notre Dame Knights for a spot in the State final. 

In the 64-47 win over Bishop Montgomery Saturday, James Jr. led all scorers with 16 points.

His famous father watched on in a moon boot as he continues to recover from a foot tendon injury.

Joining James was former Cleveland Cavaliers teammate and NBA Champion, Tristan Thompson.

The King praised his eldest child on Twitter Thursday night after the Trailblazers progressed to the semi-finals vs. Notre Dame. 

Bronny is still yet to decide upon his next basketball residency as a move to college nears. 

According to 247 Sports, Memphis, Ohio State and USC have all offered Bronny a scholarship, while, Oregon, Michigan, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky and North Carolina have also shown interest in the senior. 

James, a Laker since 2018, has expressed interest in playing with Bronny, who could be drafted by an NBA team as early as 2024.

‘My last year will be played with my son,’ James told The Athletic in February. ‘Wherever Bronny is at, that’s where I’ll be. 

‘I would do whatever it takes to play with my son for one year. It’s not about the money at that point.’ 

Bronny will also be playing in the Nike Summit for USA Basketball on April 8th after being included on the 13 man roster announced by USA basketball.

The competition will take place in Portland as some of the top high school basketball players in America will face off against U19 teams from around the world.

Bronny is currently a four-star recruit and 247sports No. 34 player in the class of 2023.
