Enkelejd Alibeaj’s Democratic Party has opened its political campaign in Tirana within the framework of the May 14 elections. During his speech, Alibeaj stated that this is a moment of celebration, but at a difficult moment for the DP.
Alibeaj has stated that the Democratic Party is under aggression as he has thrown accusations against Rama, Berisha and Meta, whom he has said that, according to him, cooperate with each other for personal interests.
Enkelejd Alibeaj: This is a moment of celebration at a difficult time for us. Life has its ups and downs. It is a moment of celebration, but also a moment of great reflection for all of us and a moment to call upon our past that we have just passed through to understand where we are going.
An attack continues on the PD created by the students’ dream. This party has done the biggest and most important things for Albania. This party is under aggression. SP headed by mafia like Edi Rama, a shopkeeper together with Meta and Berisha, open coordination with each other. In the corruption of 30 years, an attack has been launched that does not know how to stop. DP has been a victim of political and even physical aggression because this party is different from them. The old political caste cannot bear the existence of a political force that is based on the best human values, democracy and the rule of law.
They know very well that a political party like the DP, which is here freed from the sins of the past, is a threat to their power. This mentality of the old political caste. They are all 3 together and there is not the slightest doubt about it, they have shared political and financial interests with each other for 33 years, they have conquered politics together. They are together with Rama, during the day they pretend to fight about principles, at night they share financial interests together. Why don’t Meta and Berisha denounce any oligarch? The system led by Rama is based on Meta and Berisha and this system cannot do without them because they are not an alternative for the impossibility of winning. Edi Rama is kept in power by Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta. A divisive war by Berisha continues in our house of democrats.
It is time to clarify who we democrats are. Berisha is trying to implicate every DP structure in his hopeless path. He is fighting for his political immunity and in the face of this he is ready to destroy the DP and take the votes to the PL. We have a firm position that the fundamental problem of Albania, of the economic situation, the lack of hope, that is, the democratic system itself, is only Edi Rama. They are trying at every moment to block the Albanian democratic mechanization with all kinds of dirty agreements. We demand the overthrow of this regime. This is the good of Albania and Albanians. The one who is prolonging the life of this government is Sali Berisha. Even though the mayor Basha resigned in order not to continue the division, Berisha continued with his unilateral actions and subverting every rule or line of logic.
