Veliaj with the residents of Unit 3: We dig holes to plant trees, they dig holes for others

The SP candidate for Tirana, Erion Veliaj, following the green tour towards May 14, held a meeting with the residents of Unit 3, with whom he discussed the mission and motive of the Socialist Party, which is unity and peace, not division and strife. .

“Recently, we have also seen them with shovels in their hands. Then, I saw a few more with baseball bats. Then, I saw several others with ladders walking through ‘Skënderbej’ square. And I said: not now, it will be more difficult for me to make the difference because they are getting involved. Then when I turned on the TV and saw that they had taken shovel ends to shoot each other, they had taken spray to put out each other’s eyes, they had taken clubs and ram’s heads to break down each other’s doors, and they had took baseball bats to make each other’s backs softer than each other’s stomachs, I said: Those who can’t fix their house can’t fix our neighborhood, our community, our city, our country, our nation”, said Veliaj.

The mayor drew a parallel when he said that everyone is digging holes, but while the Socialist Party is planting trees, life and love, the opponents are digging holes to dig holes for others.

“The truth is that everyone is digging holes. Both us and those in front of us. But the question is, what holes are we digging? The holes we are digging bring life because we plant trees. The one who opened 4 pits on January 21, I don’t believe that brings life and has always proven to us that whenever he had in hand, he opened pits to take life. I see the children here and I remember the Durda family in Gërdec, it was the age of these children. The greed of Saliu and Zeni led them to another pit, 26 people. In a normal country, they would be ashamed to leave the house. In a normal country, they would be in the 15th or 16th year of prison. This is the place we have, not everything is in our hands. We have a new justice, we have hopes, but they are also digging holes. The question is, are you digging a hole for another or are you digging a hole to plant a tree and plant a life?! This is the difference in these elections, this is the decision-making ahead of us”, said Veliaj.

Then Veliaj said that they abandoned Albania and Tirana for 4 years and now they claim to return as if nothing happened.

“We have a very high standard for every police officer, for every firefighter who has to be there in a few minutes. It becomes nami if the emergency does not come within a minute. We have a high standard for the toads so that they don’t lose 4 years without getting a diploma, not 4 months, not 4 weeks, not 4 days. 4 hours, or 4 minutes late from the first hour, the child receives an absence. If for 4 years you run away from the parliament, run away from the municipal council, run away from all your functions; goes and stays in ‘Gji te Lalzi’; discovers that Tirana exists and has grown in the meantime, and then asks to be voted in again?! We must give politics the same respect, the standard dignity that we give to our children. And if we have a high standard for our children, we will also have a high standard for politics, so to the City Council we will bring the good guys of our neighborhood who don’t run away from their duties, who don’t abandon the function they have”, he said. says Veliaj./broread
