In a meeting with employees of the construction sector, Prime Minister Rama once again called on businesses to increase salaries for employees.
During his speech, the head of the government, Rama, stated that we have entered a time in a “war for human flesh” referring to the lack of labor.
Rama said that we should not lose jobs as developed countries will do their best for as many people as possible.
Edi Rama: We have done and will do a lot for tourism. Albania in 2030 will be the champion of the Balkans in tourism. The big problem we will have is how well we will handle their demands from the demand for beds that will increase every year to the demand for every detail in the service. Revenues will increase so much more than they are today that you will be able to raise prices.
We have entered the time of a war for human flesh, developed countries will do their best for as many people as possible. We must not lose working arms, but bring back working arms. Today we are not at the stage to tell the Albanians to return. This is what businesses should do. The story that everyone wants to work in the state has the aspect of lack of information, but also the idea that I am getting a good salary and playing cards in the office.
We will increase the minimum wage again, but it’s not just that, and it is necessary to conceive of life that even if you break even, you have done the right thing if you have given the employees more, you have guaranteed the next day. This requires a moment of tightening, you will remove a little more from your profit./broread
