Prime Minister Edi Rama has returned to Athens again, where he is participating in the Delphi forum this Friday afternoon. The head of the government is part of a panel where foreign policy is discussed. Prime Minister Rama has focused on several issues in his speech.

According to Klan News, he said that the opening of negotiations will help Albania and that there is a new spirit in the relationship between our country and the EU. But Rama does not hesitate to say that the EU postponed the accession process for Albania without convincing arguments.

“EU leaders have seen the Western Balkans like a movie on Netflix. They left us alone on a long road, postponed the process of accession negotiations without convincing arguments. There is a new spirit in our relationship with the EU. Opening negotiations will help Albania. We are forced to look at the EU as the only window for improvement”, said Rama.

As for Kosovo, he said that it was madness on the part of EU leaders not to liberalize visas. “They kept him hostage for years”, Rama said.

For Serbia, he repeats that he is not in favor of pressure to increase sanctions. “I am not in favor of pressure to increase sanctions, Serbs depend on Russian gas”, he said.

Rama also spoke in Athens about the relations with the President of Turkey, Erdgoan, whom he praised for his work on the transformation of Turkey.

“I am a close friend of Erdogan, he has done an excellent job for the transformation of Turkey”, Rama said.

In the evening, Rama and all the leaders participating in the forum were invited to a dinner by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis./broread
