Laura Woods is set to present Champions League coverage on TNT Sport next season.

Lynsey Hipgrave continues to front Premier League games on the channel that is replacing BT Sport.

Mail Sport revealed last week that Woods was in talks with owners Warner Bros Discovery about joining the rebranded channel.

Long-serving BT Sport presenter Jake Humphrey then confirmed his departure after 10 years the following day.

And as revealed by Mail Sport’s Ahead of the Game, while discussions are continuing, Woods has been offered the chance to replace Humphrey.

Hipgrave is keeping the Premier League presenting duties she began at the start of this season.

A Warner Bros spokesperson declined to comment.

It is understood that the offer to Woods includes presenting live matches and involvement in other programming.

Woods currently presents the morning breakfast show on talkSPORT, for which she has won several awards, after hosting ITV’s World Cup coverage in Qatar last year.

She previously spent 13 years at Sky Sports in a number of roles including pitchside reporting, interviewing and presenting before leaving last year to join ITV, for whom she also fronts their live NFL coverage.

BT have begun heavily promoting TNT during recent weeks ahead of its launch this summer, which has followed Warner Brothers Discovery’s takeover of the company.
