Kate Middleton has become a ‘very confident mother’ but is ‘aware of the pressure of raising a future king’, a royal expert has claimed.
The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 41, are trying to give their three children as normal an upbringing as possible, according to royal author Angela Levin.
On Saturday, the Prince and Princess of Wales’ eldest child will celebrate his tenth birthday.
Speaking to OK!, the expert commented on how Kate has flourished in her role as a parent.
She explained: ‘Kate’s a very confident mother. But even so, she’s acutely aware of the pressure of raising George as the future monarch. It’s a very heavy burden to carry.’

What’s more, the royal biographer also commented on the Princess of Wales’ portraits of her children – which the family often release on their birthdays.
According to Angela, Kate wanted to develop her photography skills to ‘protect’ George from having to sit for formal portraits.
Highlighting the positive effect this approach has had, the expert said: ‘It seems George couldn’t care less about being captured on camera and that’s wonderful.
‘The way Kate dealt with it was very, very good.’
On top of this, the royal expert opened up about William and Kate’s everyday parenting approach.
According to Angela, the children all have ‘cleaning jobs’ around the house – which involves putting things away and wiping down surfaces.
In doing this, the expert says the Princess of Wales is trying to teach her children how to look after themselves in small ways.
Meanwhile, Angela noted how Prince George would once ‘cling’ to his parents when appearing in public – but now seems increasingly confident.

Last week, Prince George joined his parents and two younger siblings at a surprise visit to RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire.
As they arrived at the airfield, the royal confidently reached out and shook hands with a member of the RAF who was showing them around the aircraft.
In the background of the photo, Prince George’s proud parents beam in his direction – while also keeping an eye on his younger siblings.
The royal was dressed in a light blue Ralph Lauren polo shirt, green chinos and brown suede shoes – just like the ones his father were wearing.

After a royal fan account shared the heartwarming image on Twitter, others were struck by how much George looks like his father.
‘He’s turning into William,’ one said.
Another gushed: ‘Oh my goodness! George is so tall and looks just like William.’
Highlighting how George is ‘taking fashion advice’ from his father, a third said: ‘Omgggg! He looks so much like William! And suede shoes!!!’
What’s more, others said it was obvious how much more confident Prince George seems in public than in previous years.
One commented: ‘He carries himself like a grown man!’
‘Shakes hands and looks him in the eye,’ another said. ‘Classy young man.’
